Join us for our very first ENGLISH COMMANDER NIGHT! We started this event to enjoy some final games with one of our regulars before they head home to the United States. Whether you’re visiting Japan, living here, or coming to our shop for the first time, you’re very welcome! Japanese players who would like to play and socialize in English are welcome too. We’ll mainly be playing at Bracket 3. Feel free to bring decks from other brackets as well—just chat with your table and agree on the bracket before each game. Our shop has a casual atmosphere, with more emphasis on conversation, making friends, and enjoying games together than on winning. Going forward, we plan to host ENGLISH COMMANDER every Wednesday and Sunday. We’d love your help in growing this event into a regular gathering! MTG SALON TOKYO is a tiny, independent card shop run almost entirely by the owner. If you enjoy supporting small local shops and connecting with fellow players, we’d love to welcome you!
Online reservations close 3 hours before the event. After that, walk-ins are welcome only if seats are available.

■ About MTG SALON TOKYO & Our Community

MTG SALON TOKYO is a small independent card shop run by a Japanese watchmaker.

We care not only about money or material things, but also about creating meaningful experiences, friendships, and a community that can make life feel a little richer.

We warmly welcome people who share this idea and would like to support our little shop and community.

If you would like to help us tidy up before an event, propose or run an event of your own, or simply help bring the community together, please feel free to speak with a staff member.

We would be very happy to have you help us grow this place together.

■ Respect and Conduct

Please treat fellow players and shop staff with kindness and respect so everyone can enjoy the event. Behavior or comments that make others uncomfortable or disrupt their experience are not welcome.

Please follow the posted shop rules and staff guidance. Persistent disruptive behavior, serious misconduct, or interference with event operations may result in removal from the event and restrictions on future shop visits or event participation.

■ Personal Hygiene and Fragrances

We’re a small shop with closely spaced seating. Please wear clean clothes and be mindful of sweat, body odor, and breath.

If you’re joining us after work or a busy day, please freshen up with body wipes or a change of clothes as needed. Please also avoid strong perfumes or fragrances.

■ Photography and Video

We may take photos and videos of the shop and gameplay during events and share them on our social media or other shop channels.

We would like to casually share the atmosphere of our events and community through photos and videos.

If you prefer not to have your face shown, please let a staff member know before photos or videos are taken each time you attend. We will accommodate your preference when recording and sharing content.
